The Overnight Camp
Eat, drink and be merry
Fun and community are central to the challenge – and the overnight halfway stopover is a real highlight of the weekend.
Conveniently located on-route at the Hutton Cranswick Sports & Recreation Centre, the camp is a fantastic opportunity to relax, recharge and get to know your fellow riders after a long, hard day in the saddle.
Entrants can lock their bikes away in a secure area, which is monitored by our resident security guard throughout the night, before enjoying a hearty meal, music from a live band and a fully licensed bar as part of the evening festivities, with breakfast provided the following morning. Campers get full access to the facilities, which include toilets, washroom and hot showers onsite.
You won’t have to worry about transporting your tent or camping gear – our fabulous support team will do that for you, to the halfway and back again, though you will have to pitch your own tent!
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to offer pre-erected tents.
Alternative accommodation
Not much of a camper? No worries! Whilst we encourage all entrants to embrace the challenge and stay with us at the overnight camp, there is absolutely no obligation to do so. You’re more than welcome to book your own B&B nearby, or to bring a campervan to the site.
